Overview:
PNC completed the full recommissioning of a Siemens 840D-controlled gear cutting machine used for industrial spare parts production, including large gear components for heavy-duty applications. The machine supports gear cutting up to 2 meters in diameter and is equipped with a complete Siemens control and drive system.
The project was required after a drive-related failure caused system corruption and a complete loss of machine data from the control card. PNC restored the machine by rebuilding the required CNC parameters, checking the Siemens drive system, recalibrating the axes, and validating the machine functions.
